Question: What are the ReplayZones secret codes?
Answer: There are a number of codes you can enter in conjunction with the ReplayZones button to access parts of the Replay software (enter the number, and then hit the ReplayZones button):
111-ReplayZones Put the Replay in "game" mode. You must first enter "Joshua" or "Tic Tac" into the Claw Foot Portal (see what can I enter into the claw foot portal?)
411-ReplayZones This one will show you all the information about the Replay, including serial number, software version, most recent connection, and more.
243-ReplayZones This will get you to a menu that allows you to force a network connection to Replay, turn on the network meter, memory meter, and other utilities, and gets you to the "Claw Foot Portal".
382-ReplayZones on the 4XXX models and higher, this will reset the unit to factory defaults. This is great if the unit becomes unstable, or if you need to resize the photo partition. This will erase all shows and recording channels from your unit! If your unit has the 3.X software, use 777-ReplayZones.
243-ReplayZones Entered in the setup menu - Allows you to tweak some remote settings in order to control two different Replays with one programmable remote, as well as set the HUD transparency.
876-ReplayZones When the machine is next rebooted, it will go through the full setup process.
887-ReplayZones Entered in the setup menu - Displays a list of credits for the ReplayTV.
888-ReplayZones Entered in the setup menu - displays a list of haikus written by the ReplayTV staff during the development process. Very funny, especially if you do any software development.

999-ReplayZones on 5080 shows "DownloadQueue reuests: ISN" screen. My screen shows 2 shows followed by a 15 digit number (in 3 groups of 5, separated by dashes). For example, "1. Friends 00001-13333-55555"
I'm not sure what this means nor what use it is to know.
jleavens writes: This screen doesn't work yet, but it's a good idea. It's just a mockup, so everyone's unit shows the exact same shows transferring.
l8er added on 07/17/2003: Changing the HUD transparency from 243-zones in Setup only changes the transparency of what comes up on the screen by hitting the Display button. You can turn off the transparency at the top of the Channel Guide listing by turning on Parental Control (in Setup). (You don't need to set up any parental controls, just turn them on by entering a PIN.)
added on 07/25/2003: Do these codes still apply to the 5.0 version? When I enter "Joshua" in the CFP it says "Acknowledged" but if I return and do 111-Zones nothing happens.
jleavens writes: As a matter of fact, not only does it still work, but there's an Othello game here I don't remember :*)
j.m. added on 10/06/2003: 243-Replay Zones Entered in the "Screen Saver and Pause Screen" setup menu on 5.0 and later - Allows you to adjust the Screen Saver Timeout value.
BardoBill added on 10/21/2003: Starting with 5.1:
Screen snaphot: type SNAPSHOT into the clawfoot.
You'll now be able to use the record button to grab a snapshot of the screen. Best results when you hit the pause button first, of course - it's slow to respond.
OSD snapshot: use keyword SCREENSHOT instead.
Also, there's a keyword to enable priority of zone recordings, but I've forgotten what it is.
jack added on 12/22/2003: 3 8 2 zones - modify retailer demo mode.
Bill Cochell added on 12/25/2003:
888-Zones while watching live TV will bring up the ReplayTV Input option. I've only tried it on my 5040.

999 shows a "download queue", but not sure if it reflects actual data, and how things get queued on the 5500 software
